- Valuation Rolls: When they first were recorded in the valuation rolls in the 1869-1870 volume, Robert was recorded as a Draper living in a house in Sunnyside, Dalbeattie. There is an entry for every year but I only copied some years. In the 1879-1880 volume; Robert Mckenzie is a occupier of house and garden on Maxwell Street and the proprietor is St Peters Catholic Church. I have added an image of the 1884-1885 and the 1887-1888 years
