    • FOR COUNTY ATTORNEY WALLACE C. THOMPSON: Wallace C. Thompson, incubent, is the Democratic candidate for re election. He was born and raised in this county. He is a son of Homer C. Thompson. and a grandson of the late D.C. Thompson, a one time commissioner of Piute County. He received his elementary education in the district schools of this county, is a graduate of the Richfield high school and attended the University of Utah in 1919 and 1920. Due to ill health his educational career was cut short at this point, but he has constantly and consistently continued his education by studying at home and had 25 hours cred in a law school before being elected to office 2 years ago. For the past two years he has pursued a correspondence course of law with the American Extension School of Law. His only interest is that of serving his county to the best of his ability. He appreciates the confidence the people have given him, and asks for a continuance of their confidence and support in electing him for another term. Paid Political Advertisement

    • Wallace C Thompson buried at Antimony Thursday; Served Since 1936 as Attorney for County, Active in Church Work: Funeral Services were held at Antimony Thursday afternoon of this week for Wallace Clinton Thompson. 45. county attorney of Piute County who died in the Salina hospital Sunday of this week. Uremic poisoning was given as the cause of death. Bishop Ward Savage of Antimony was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Thompsonville cemetery. Mr. Thompson was born at Thompsonville October 3, 1896 and was a son of Susie Scoggins and Homer Clinton Thompson. His father died a short time ago. In 1928 the family moved to Richfield where they lived for four years, then moved to Antimony, where he has since made his home. He was active in church and civic affairs, having served a mission for the L.D.S. Church in California, and in 1936 he was elected county attorney of Piute, a position which he has since filled. Surviving are two sisters; Mrs. Shirley Nay of Antimony and Mrs. Kurt Metzner of Cloverville, California; and two brothers, Harold and George Thompson, both of Antimony.
